Pilates, anyone?

Today was a bad health day. I didn't eat very well at all. We went to see Casey today and his mom went to get him some bean burritos from Taco Bueno. She asked if we wanted anything and we said no. However, she came back with Mexi Dips and Chips. Lexy and I shared the dippy goodness. When we got home, everyone was craving bean burritos so Chris made some for dinner. They were tiny tortillas and we just used fat free refried beans, shredded cheese, low fat sour cream and taco sauce. It wasn't all that bad but I still felt like a pig today. Then, I was CRAVING popcorn so I made some while Lexy and I were watching TV. I felt super fat because I hadn't worked out yet and I didn't work out yesterday either. One of the shows we were flipping back and forth to was The N's Student Body. It's pretty much Biggest Loser for high school students. I had never heard of it before and I thought it was pretty great. It made us start feeling loser-ish - and not in the good way - so even though it was time for me to start getting ready for bed, we popped in a workout dvd. We did The Ballet Core Workout. It was pretty much pilates, which I have never done before but I have been really anxious to try it. It felt really good. And for those of you who think Pilates is for wusses, don't knock it 'til you try it. I was sweatting like crazy. And this chick was super easy to follow. I felt it all over but I didn't feel lost and I didn't feel like I was going to throw up. It was fun and I think I'll be trying The Pilates Core Workout tomorrow (I have both workouts on one dvd from Prevention).
